Nissan India has just introduced a government-approved CNG retrofit kit for their popular Magnite sub-compact SUV, giving owners a greener driving option. This new kit is priced at ₹74,999 and, for now, is only available for the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Initially, starting June 1st, 2025, you'll find this kit at select dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka. Nissan plans to roll it out across the rest of India later on.

The Nissan Magnite CNG variants are priced between ₹6.89 lakh and ₹10.02 lakh. This move is being seen as a significant push towards more eco-friendly and budget-friendly personal transportation.
